WORLD SKILLS

World Skills Singapore 2016 was held from 7th to 9th July 2016. Singaporean students and trainees from polytechnics, ITE, other institutions of higher learning and companies, who were not older than 22 years old in the year of the competition were invited to participate in this competition. World Skills Singapore 2016 winners stood a chance to represent Singapore at the prestigious 44th World Skills Competition to held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates in October 2017.

WORLD SKILLS SINGAPORE 2016

I was given the opportunity to represent my college, ITE College Central to participate in the annual World skills Singapore 2016. The competitors were required to research and develop the design concept, plan, prepare and install the window display whilst preparing products/materials to display in a vitrine within the total time allocation of 15 hours over the course of three days. I was awarded Gold for this annual Competition. I then competed in the finals at World Skills Abu Dhabi 2017.
