This project explores how design can better support caregivers of individuals living with dementia, an often overlooked group despite their crucial role. As an extension of the CARA app, the proposed solution introduces three key features aimed at enhancing the caregiving experience. A One-on-One Connections feature enables caregivers to chat and support one another based on shared experiences.

The Community Forum offers an open platform for sharing stories, seeking advice, and building a sense of belonging. To further encourage engagement, a Rewards System allows caregivers to earn points for their contributions, which can be redeemed for meaningful perks. Together, these features aim to foster a more connected, informed, and supported caregiving community, ultimately improving quality of life for both caregivers and those they care for..
