Tucked among the vibrant shophouses of Geylang, Bánh Mì Thịt by Star Baguette is a hidden gem serving up authentic Vietnamese flavors in the heart of Singapore. The rebranding project aimed to resolve visual inconsistencies while preserving cultural roots, striking a balance between modern cohesion and tradition, all while retaining essential brand elements.

Brand Guidelines

Ambiance, Physical outlet & Food truck

My Team and I aimed to deliver a consistent brand experience across all outlets by thoughtfully applying our brand guidelines with distinctive Vietnamese touches. From eye-catching merchandise displays to carefully curated furniture choices, every detail should embody our unique identity. By aligning these elements across locations, we strengthen brand recognition while creating meaningful and memorable experiences for our customers.

Digital Collaterals

Typography remained consistent with the established typefaces representing Bánh Mì Thịt by Star Baguette, and all colors must align with the official brand palette. To maintain a cohesive and authentic experience, our custom-designed Vietnamese tiles should be incorporated where suitable. In this instance, the tiles are used as a visual divider to distinguish between sections with similar color tones, adding both function and cultural character.

Banana yoggi is a chocolate banana yogurt smoothie, targeted for children aged 3-9 years old. The bright colors scheme and character attract children’s attention, the curvier-shaped bottle and the small size make it easier for children's consumption as well as minimizing any mess. The bottle also has round edges which will prevent injuries. The objective is to solve the lack of interactive product and be more environmentally friendly with the material used for the product. This was my very first packaging project which eventually got me to the final for Singapore Packaging Star Award under the category for student’s sales & display.
